Bolivia

This market analysis, undertaken to study blended food commodities in terms of acceptability, usage and nutritional quality was conducted in Bolivia (and Guatemala). These products included corn-soy blend, wheat-soy blend, bulgur and soy-fortified bulgur, as well as wheat flour and corn-soy milk. The market assessment, that included focus group and other interviews, also leaned on the observation of consumers’ work with the food, photographing their preparation practices, and documenting their recipes and general attitude toward the commodities at hand.
